Are You a Convenience Store Associate? Or a Supermarket Associate?
In other words, are you the type of person that only does things when they’re convenient, including building your business? Or are you an entrepreneur that eats the frog, and persistently lays the building blocks to their financial freedom through rain, sleet, and hell?
It’s really a simple question. It’s just difficult to look yourself in the mirror and see the truth of the matter. That your excuses, and the warm fuzzy feelings of convenience, ARE BIGGER than your dreams, commitments, and resolve.
How do you know whether you’re a convenience store associate, on your way to earning convenience store income, versus a supermarket entrepreneur, soon to be earning supermarket life changing income?
Here are a couple revealing questions.
Do you have your elevator pitch down? Or do you know how to answer the inevitable question that you must know how to field to be successful in any entrepreneurial endeavor, “what do you do?” Or do you know how to greet someone properly (FORM), in such a way that they willingly accept and ask to be invited to learn about your business?
Or do you just not make the invitation; fumble through it; or worse yet, try to give entire presentations over the phone or in person? Basically, take the attitude of “I’ll learn the script when it’s convenient.”
Are you inviting your prospects to Zoom Calls hosted by individuals like Mr. Robert McCormick - Executive Director / Ring Earner / Michigan Regional Director - freely giving of his time every Thursday @ 8:40pm EST? In other words, an entrepreneur that is earning a residual income in excess of $50,000 annually, not taking into account the direct and passive income he earns. Playing the game you're playing.
Or inviting your prospects via 3 way, providing your guests with the best answers to the questions they may have, allowing you to listen and learn how to counter objections, address concerns, and properly edify your leadership, which indirectly teaches people how to quickly build their business?
Or do you do the presentation yourself? Give half baked overviews? Which results in memberships not staying on the books. You’d rather learn the hard, slow way about how to overcome challenges. Because that's how smart people do it, right? Wondering why you’re not receiving 30 referrals a week, and why your business never really grows away from you?
Because, it’s more convenient to do it that way, right? It’s more convenient to wing it, or treat your business like a $10 or $14 an hour job, or side hustle, because that’s what you’re used to. It’s more convenient that.
Do you know when the next B2B Training, Fast Start Training, Corporate Regional, or International Convention is scheduled?
Or are you taking the convenient way out? Wondering how are people having $1000 or $10,000 days in their LegalShield franchise. Blaming your lack of success on everyone or everything else, when you’re really the reason…. Treating your business casually. Making every excuse possible not to receive training. Waiting till the last minute to learn how to execute an exposure, a proper presentation, or properly ask for referrals?
You want to get lucky? Luck is when preparation & training meets opportunity.
You can spend 20 hours plus a week on social media, trying to get noticed, and be popular? Watch television or jack off time at a club, or bar, or restaurant…. But you can’t give your business 5-10 hours a week? You can’t commit to the thing you said you’d do, to free yourself from indentured servitude?
Well, I get it. Actually. I’m sorry, I don’t. I won’t even lie. Living check to check, and boss to boss is more convenient for some of us.
Are you simply living sign up to sign up? Gaining no referrals. Allowing others to dictate to you whether your business can be successful, when they don’t even know the former COO of Microsoft is onboard with us. The former founder of Primerica is onboard with us. That the only and first African American to be recognized by a National Chamber of commerce twice in the direct selling industry is onboard with us. That Daymond John, Grant Cardone, Eric Thomas, John C. Maxell, Jack Canfield, etc., etc., have attended and facilitated our training events….. Without you having to pay 4 figures plus to attend.
But here’s the thing, out of convenience you probably don’t know either.
Because, the convenient thing is to not know how to ENROLL (not sign up) AND EMPOWER a family or business owner, because it takes training. Knowing the statistics about one of the fastest growing franchises in North America would require the inconvenience of participating on a training call, or attending a corporate regional.
It’s more convenient. It’s easier to self-sabotage your goals, dreams, and greatest ambitions.
Let’s cut to the chase. If you want to know the difference between you, and the others you read about, hear about, watch their videos, post about……
