Yes, I said. Absolutely choking your dreams. The brighter, freer, less stressed out, less fearful, more abundant future that is waiting for you. And you have no one to blame but your excuses.
And yes, I know some of you are going to want to quit after reading this, and I'm good with that. I'd rather piss off some of you, and know that one person may step into a more abundant life, rather than remain quiet, and watch people waste their potential. my responsibility isn't to always share what you want to hear, but rather be a voice that shares what you need to hear.
I spoke with a gentleman a couple days ago, who shared with me, he was about to be fired from his job. After working for this company 50-60 hours a week, doing the work of two, sometimes three people. Never arriving late. Never leaving early. For over 6 years. He was let go. Because he arrived early, clocked in early and forgot for 20 minutes, walked out to his car, talked with someone on his phone, and returned and sprinted right back to work when he saw something was going sideways with a customer, forgetting to clock in, because that is what he's always done. Fired over 20 minutes out of well over a million minutes. Fired.
And this happens all the time to people in the 40s and 50s. Despite record profits from corporate america, over the last 50 years. U.S. citizen's incomes have flatlined. Stayed at roughly $30,000 annually. The bottom line is people aren't getting ahead. They're having to work two to three jobs to be compensated for the same amount of work previous generations earned off one job. Of course most people are living check to check, credit card to credit card. People don't own homes. They own house notes. Car notes. They don't own their clothes and food. They own credit card bills. Sh$%, you don't own your college degree. That paper has to be paid for. and by the time you're done paying for it, it's not worth the paper it's printed on. Most people can't absorb a $500 to $1000 unplanned emergency without stuff hitting the fan. Most people aren't living. They're surviving. And you have 20 and 30 year olds that will work for half the cost required to keep a highly skilled, and experienced workers. And on top of that, people are living longer. People are having to scratch out an existence well into their 70s and 80s, and if you having your thinking cap on, we will have to well into our 80s, 90s, and 100s.
But here's the thing. This gentlemen was under 30 years old. That's right, I'm receiving phone calls from people who are being let go from jobs in their 20s, and 30s now. The economy is changing and I mean fast. This is not an endorsement or a non endorsement. But presidential candidate Andrew Yang talks about this frequently. The fact easily 30-40 percent of most jobs will be literally erased in a couple short years. Attorneys are being squeezed by AI computers that can research and index laws faster than them. Truck drivers. Retail workers at grocery stores, clothing stores, shoe stores, car dealerships, yes, car dealerships, fast food restaurants, family restaurants, etc., etc., More and more plant work is going to be replaced. Packaging and delivering jobs. Secretarial. Administrative jobs. Supervisory jobs. Etc., Iowa was F-ed up. But that is the future of our elections. Employees at the secretary of state, quote unquote good government jobs are going bye bye. Bank jobs. etc., etc.
We, You, Don't have time. And my biggest concern is that you are waiting on
BS.COM to show up on your door steps, before you realize you need to have urgency Now. And the bottom line is youre making excuses. Being lackadaisical. Complaining that you're tired. You don't have time. Your children, which should be your reason to lose sleep working, not your excuse not to burn the midnight oil. Your life is not FACEBOOK, it's not INSTAGRAM. You don't live there. You won't die there. You won't starve there. You won't find financial independence there.
Of course youre tired. You should be. You should be tired of
living check to check
worrying about this and that,
not having the resources to protect, love, and care for your children,
not having the time to take a breath and enjoy the laughter of your elders,
tired of working for people who could care less if you're two months away from an eviction
tired of not having reliable transportation,
tired of renting our lives.
tired of not taking responsibility for what happens to you,
tired of others owning you not on facebook, but for real.
owning your time, your money, your dreams, your futures.
It's time for you to stop making excuses.
stop making excuses, waiting on someone to come save you.
waiting to hit the lottery. getting upset when you get fired, let go, treated unfairly.
you gave your financial independence and solvency to someone else.... and you're not mad at yourself. ....#%Q% please.
you don't have time tomorrow. time two weeks from now. 2 years from now.
so when you tell me, i forgot. i didn't have time to put a conference call on my calendar to listen and learn from people who earn more
in a week or sometimes in a day then you do in a month.
you don't have time to attend a training and learn from people who have managed, spent, and saved more money in a year, then most people will earn in their lifetimes.
you don't have time to tune into leaders who are taking time out of their schedules to help you level up, who have done the thing you're taking aim at.
leaders with over 20 to 40 years of experience in sales, business development, organizational development, built agencies, helped business owners level up,
the shops you get your hair done at, the restaurants you eat at, the shops you buy your clothes from, the places you buy your cars from, people who have
multi-millionaire corporations as clients, check their linkedin profiles.
see you thought, i was talking about me, or just me. NO. Yes, some of what i shared is true about me. however, what's better. we are blessed to be part of a company that has produced approximately 1000 six and seven figure income earners over the last 10 years alone. get some of that experience.
look i've tasted the fear of eviction. i know what it's like not to have transportation. i know what it's like to live in the wrong zip code. be told NO, you don't have a job tomorrow. years, and years ago. and i vowed, that i would not experience, repeat none of the aforementioned. i would not choose these things. i was too tired to endure hardship for sake of enduring hardship. some of you are choosing it. eat it. taste it. accept. and do something about it.
and it requires that you be tired of waiting. be tired of not having. be too tired not to take advantage of opportunities to level up.
what i'd encourage you to do, if you're serious about making a change. take out your phone or appointment book, and put the following training in your calendar.
or not, just remember to ask yourself, what are you choosing.
