Hello Team New Horizons Family,
"Get your head right!" People proclaim it to ridicule and to encourage. But what exactly does it mean, and how does one level up mentally? A couple suggestions....
1. Keep your vision statement, core principals, and goals in front of you all the time; make them available everywhere. Attention is like the sun; what you focus on grows, occupies your thoughts, and ultimately directs your limbs.
2. Good in, good out. Bad in, bad out. Sometimes you have to change up your circle. Change your listening habits. What you're reading. As it relates to people in your life, sometimes you have to distance yourself from those who are not walking along the same path.
3. Be unapologetic about the things that motivate you. Be you, unabashedly. Everyone else is already taken. If material things motivate you. So be it. If you're motivated by helping people. Good for you. You want to avenge a loss. More power to you. People spend so much time being concerned about the opinions of people who wouldn't show up to their funeral on a rainy day.
4. Becoming is a process. Snowflakes turn into snowballs. Improve the things that need improving one step at a time.
